Torfaen Public Services Board: 2018 Update

Keep up to date with all the latest news from the Torfaen Public Services Board.

Public services boards were established across Wales on 1st April 2016 under the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015, bringing together public services to improve the social, economic, environmental and cultural well-being of their area, now and for future generations. This legislation makes it a statutory requirement for public services boards across Wales to undertake assessments of well-being for their area on a 5 year cycle and to use these assessments to develop and deliver well-being plans that will contribute to achieving the Welsh Government’s 7 well-being goals.

Cwmbran Community will be a key partner in the work of the Board.

This first well-being plan for Torfaen sets out 7 well-being objectives, areas that the Board want to work at together and with you, its citizens, to improve well-being across Torfaen.

The Draft Well-being Plan consultation is open until 7th January 2018
