Torfaen Play Service
Cwmbran Community Council has supported play provision for many years. Our Summer Play schemes were once a very popular feature of the long school holidays!
The Council continues to encourage play opportunities locally, working with our colleagues at Torfaen Play Service to support Summer Play schemes (£90,000 in 2024).
We also promote national initiatives such as National Play Day and local projects such as the wonderful Gnomes Around Torfaen.
Torfaen Play Service provides various opportunities for children and young people of all ages and abilities through the medium of play. The service delivers play opportunities 7 days a week to meet the needs of communities across Torfaen.
