Cwmbran Community Council attended Thornhill Summer Fayre at Thornhill Community Centre on Sunday 17th August.  The Fayre was organised by Thornhill 4 U Too.

The event provided free and low cost family fun for Thornhill residents including Animals Interactive, The Nestbox Project, Face Painting, Axe Throwing, Nerf Wars and attendance from Torfaen Youth Service.   There was live music on the day and Gwent Police and the Fire Service brought a police car and fire engine for children (and adults!) to have a go sitting in the seat and having their photo taken.

Cwmbran Community Council provided free face painter for the day and we also funded Project Nestbox who came along to make Nest Boxes with the children to take home.

The day was a huge success and we are proud to support these important community events.
